Local Eye Care You Can Trust
Regular eye tests are essential to maintaining your vision. At Specsavers Opticians Market Street a qualified optometrist can check the health of your eyes and diagnose various medical conditions in a relaxed setting through various non-contact eye tests that will be tailored to your needs.
After your eye test you will meet with a dispenser who will help you through the process of choosing new glasses. Local residents will not have to wait long for their specs, usually less than a week, as the warehouse is here in Guernsey. As well as single vision lenses, Specsavers can also offer bifocal and a range of varifocal lenses. The Market Street store has a huge range of frames in stock for men, women, teens and children to suit any taste.
At Specsavers Opticians Market Street you can choose frames from a fantastic range of designer brands in the latest trends and styles, while getting advice on what might best suit your shape of face and hair colour.
Children can choose from their own range of designer brands:
Specsavers make buying contact lenses easy, with a range of lenses to suit different needs that are comfortable to wear and made using the latest technology.
A Specsavers optometrist will advise you, based on your requirements and lifestyle, and perform a free check without obligation to ensure your eyes are suitable for wearing contact lenses. Specsavers can then let you trial either Easyvision or Acuvue contact lenses, free of charge, either five pairs of daily disposable lenses or one set of monthly lenses. After this trial period you will be able to make your decision with confidence whether contact lenses are for you.
You can pop into the store to buy contact lenses whenever you need them, or alternatively if you decide to pay for contact lenses on an ongoing basis with direct debit then you will be entitled to join the Specsavers Easycare scheme at no extra charge. Easycare includes free home delivery of lenses, routine aftercare checks, a dedicated contact centre and up to two free disposable contact lenses to replace lost or damaged ones.

Everything about my visit was brilliant. Everything was easily explained to me. Happy with everything done.
The staff seem to listen to the patients rather than pushing to get on to the next customer - more of a personal service.
The optician Sarah is always welcoming and goes out of her way to ensure all my needs are met.
All were friendly and efficient but Neil was so especially. I felt that he had a real desire to see that my needs were met and helped me choose the best financial plan.
Very welcoming. Each practitioner introduced themselves and explained what they were going to do. Virtually no waiting.
