Visited this week whilst on a day trip to Herm. Friendly place with large outside seating area. If you want food though get there before 2pm! We missed it.

Hotel is lovely. Very nice staff good food in the terrace bar. Our room is perfect with a huge bed... very comfy even i couldn't steal the entire bed and I'm a good star fish. Swimming pool is nice with sauna and steam room, not too busy when I've been you have full use of all facilities and the spa is reasonable, i bought my hubby a massage for £45 which kept him busy for 45mins and he loved it. The only down side to the hotel is how cold it is.. everywhere! The room has been cold most of the time, heating has been on but the radiator is tiny. Sat in the terrace bar there is a cold breeze coming from somewhere, no doors open its just so cold. BTW it is freezing outside but I would expect the hotel to be able to warm me up a little. Would definitely come again in the summer when more attractions are open on the island. Booked through last minute.com.
Oh BTW try the waffles at breakfast they are really good!

A wonderful welcoming team of staff, incredible food, beautiful surroundings and superb location. Yet absolutely impossible to sleep - like sleeping in an airport or bus station. Corridor lights only go off at 2.30am Noisy corridors as guests walk by and bang doors that shake walls and reverberate through bed head whilst triggering the lights going on and off all night. Internal doors slamming and creaky floor boards all night every night. No window coverings so light streams through the windows like a floodlight.

The Blonde Hedgehog is very stylish. Food is excellent, staff, in particular Victor the restaurant manager, very friendly, and attentive. We ate the tuna tataki and arancini, and then sea bass and black bream, followed by the early grey crème brûlée. Everything delicious plus a bottle of NZ Albariño. Well priced.
