Roc Salt is a Guernsey restaurant which offers a relaxed and informal dining experience with a great sea view. With a wide range of seafood on offer from lobsters to locally sourced fish, Roc Salt is also a great steakhouse and offers food to suit every palate.
A stunning setting over the bay with a warm and friendly atmosphere - the interior really does welcome you in with the quirky TLC in abundance. The menu has a choice for every taste. I opted for the hot n cheesy oysters which seriously were the best starter I have ever tasted, if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be this. That was a tough act to follow but the local lobster in garlic butter was a heavy weight contender. It was so succulent it literally melted and I didn't want it to end - that was not really an issue as the portion sizes are generous. A nice touch are the home made chips and attention to presentation. Determined to make it to dessert I closed dinner with the utterly scrumptious and light mini donuts, served with 3 syringe shots of different fillings - a really fun way to close a fantastic meal. It would have been rude to leave without sampling the impressive cocktail menu, the Bakewell Fizz packing a serious punch. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu - fusing local produce with international and local flavours. To be in Guernsey and not visit this fabulous restaurant, would be sorrowful
