The food was delicious and the staff were friendly with a relaxed atmosphere, added to by the unobtrusive background music. The menu has a good choice of Sea food and steak. Unfortunately, even though we had an early sitting some dishes were out. There could’ve been a little more choice for vegetarians, this and the cash only due to the card machine not working was the only reason it’s not 5/5

Sensational hotel with absolutely impeccable service from all the staff, from the Prosecco welcome to the final good bye we were very well looked after. Bed was very comfortable, room was small but perfectly formed, bathroom very pleasant. Breakfast is a mix of continental buffet and made-to-order hot dishes. Well located in the town with a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.
Les Cotils
Les Cotils is the perfect setting for an exceptional meal to help you celebrate a special occasion or enjoy a delicious Sunday lunch.

We tried this restaurant after reading positive reviews. We were not disappointed and would highly recommend it. The service was excellent and the food delicious and good value.
Stunning views over the harbour
The Blonde Hedgehog
The Blonde Hedgehog bar and restaurant is the heart of the hotel and serves sumptuous farm-to-table dishes and delicious homely deserts made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Inspired by island life on Alderney, our vision for the restaurant is to create innovative and exciting plates using predominantly locally-grown ingredients.

Herm Island
Herm Island has an exceptional and diverse range of restaurants and dining options. The White House Hotel offers more formal dining at the Conservatory Restaurant as well as a relaxed atmosphere at the Ship Inn Brasserie or try the Black Rock Grill or light meals and snacks at The Mermain Tavern. Herm Island - where dining is always a pleasure!

Quite a long time after our honeymoon, which we had spent at the White House Hotel, we were glad to be back at this lovely place. The White House has retained its unique charme over the years and the island is still a gem. Hotel staff were fabulous and extremly friendly. Service was incredibly welcoming and pleasant. The food was excellent, the chef brilliant and the personal in the restaurant always caring, attentive and perfectly organised. We felt at home.

Two things might deserve attention of the management: firstly, the very noisy quad traffic (starting occasionally at half past six in the morning) would improve by either using shock absorbers in their rattling trailers or choosing the more quiet equipment, at least for the early hours.
Secondly, the larger room of the Monk’s Bar needs some attention to furnishing details. Especially some of the wall decorations should be replaced by either photografic illustrations (as in the Conservatory) or by appropriate and tasteful graphics.
Muse Café & Deli

(Translated by Google) Great coffee, capuccho like espresso, good Eggs Benedikt. I don't share the opinions of others that the service would be "unfriendly". Probably depends on the time of the visit. Maybe early is trump! Give a smile and you'll get one back. Recommended!!

Give a smile and you’ll get one back. Empfehlenswert!!
Duke of Richmond Hotel
The Duke of Richmond Hotel is well known to both locals and visitors as one of the best restaurants in Guernsey with a wide range of luxury cuisine. The Leopard Restaurant is a welcoming venue for fine dining at any time of day. When the weather allows, The Terrace, overlooking beautiful Candie Gardens provides an al fresco dining experience perfect for morning coffee or afternoon tea, or move into the Conservatory and appreciate our cuisine under shelter from the elements.

The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the harbour and in a quiet location
The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Everywhere was very clean
We had a harbour view room with lovely views
The restaurant was pleasant but a bit expensive compared to other places. Bar snacks looked to be over priced
Terrace seating area was lovely but sometimes tables weren’t cleared very quickly so seagulls sat on tables eating nuts and breaking glasses.
Parking could be a bit of a challenge as only 5 designated spaces for the hotel and street parking was a bit tight
We did however thoroughly enjoy our stay.
