The Duke of Richmond Hotel is well known to both locals and visitors as one of the best restaurants in Guernsey with a wide range of luxury cuisine. The Leopard Restaurant is a welcoming venue for fine dining at any time of day. When the weather allows, The Terrace, overlooking beautiful Candie Gardens provides an al fresco dining experience perfect for morning coffee or afternoon tea, or move into the Conservatory and appreciate our cuisine under shelter from the elements.
I have always received good service at the Duke of Richmond Hotel. It feels like quality as soon as you step into the checkered floored reception. The Leopard bar is very luxurious and welcoming. Afternoon tea is also to die for. Hope to go to more of their themed evenings including jazz in the future.
Herm Island has an exceptional and diverse range of restaurants and dining options. The White House Hotel offers more formal dining at the Conservatory Restaurant as well as a relaxed atmosphere at the Ship Inn Brasserie or try the Black Rock Grill or light meals and snacks at The Mermain Tavern. Herm Island - where dining is always a pleasure!

The Blonde Hedgehog bar and restaurant is the heart of the hotel and serves sumptuous farm-to-table dishes and delicious homely deserts made from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Inspired by island life on Alderney, our vision for the restaurant is to create innovative and exciting plates using predominantly locally-grown ingredients.
We recently stayed at the Blonde Hedgehog (The Corner House) and have to say it one of the nicest hotels I've visited, it was beautifully furnished right down to the last detail and it is in a perfect location being right at the top of the high street (close to the shops and the pub of course!). We had a lovely breakfast and a Sunday roast during our stay both of which were delicious! I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Alderney.
We held our annual 'bestof' awards night here last Saturday and we could not have asked for a better venue. The assistance arranging the evening was perfect with nothing being too much trouble (thank you...
