October Half Term is this year between 28th October and 1st November. And whatever the weather, and whatever your budget, there’s something for you to enjoy in Bolton.
If it’s raining, why not catch a film at Cineworld Bolton? There’ll be showing all the big releases from their comfortable theatres.
In the evening head over to The Albert Halls as they are performing The Wizard of Oz between October 30th and November 3rd 2013. It will be an entertaining show for everyone.
If you’d rather be out and about then sat down, then Bolton Arena is the place to go. They have a multitude of sports to choose from, like tennis, football, badminton and squash.
Youngsters can also run riot at either Fidgets Indoor Soft Play Centre. It’s packed with ball pits, bouncy areas and much more. The onsite café is a nice place for parents to relax whilst children play too.
If the adults are working and the children need somewhere to go full time during the day then then Bolton Lads and Girls Holiday Club is an excellent venue for 8-12 year olds. This year there are trips out planned during the week and an updated food menu to sample.
Whales and Snails are a large indoor play centre in the centre of Bolton. They have a play den and plenty of soft equipment for anyone up to the age of 12 to play in.
School Shuttle is another brilliant holiday club that caters for 3-14 year olds. There’s always something going on so the kids who attend are never bored.
Beechwood Private Nursery School is an exceptional nursery in Bromley Cross, Bolton. The experienced staff here will look after infants for parents struggling with childcare.
Halloween is during half term this year so make sure you celebrate by buying your costume from Fancy That. Pick from a pumpkin costume, Dracula outfit and many, many more. If you’re expecting trick or treaters then stock up on the liquorice with Little Sweet Box, who have all kinds of traditional and family favourite sweets.
