The month of April is Bowel Cancer month and 'Beating Bowel Cancer' would like to invite you to join their 'Bowel Movement' and pledging your support.

Bowel Cancer can be successfully treated in 90% of cases but it is important you know and recognize the signs. 

  • Bleeding from the bottom
  • A persistent change in bowel habits
  • Abdominal pain
  • Unexplained dizziness, tiredness or breathlessness
  • Unexpected and unexplained weightloss.
Remember all of these symptoms may not be Bowel Cancer but you are urged 'Not to sit on your symptoms' and make an appointment to see your GP if you have any

The nurses are also available via their Facebook page where you can also chat to other bowel cancer patients and their friends and relatives and there is more help and support on our forum.
