All Souls Bolton have released their timetable for events and activities for Autumn and Winter 2015.

They are offering some unusual takes on seasonal celebrations.

A crafting group meeting in the coffee shop every Tuesday and Thursday morning. The first Tuesday and first Thursday of the month are guided sessions by local artist Mary Rudkin. Activities include rag rugging, watercolour techniques, Chinese brush work, silk painting and batik.

Halloween will be celebrated with a murder mystery dinner; a three course meal and an evening of sleuthing.

For children there will be a spooky-themed Lego brick building session followed by pumpkin carving.

A variety of Christmas events include ‘Christmas at Hogwarts’, a spectacular banquet of Harry Potter-themed food an entertainment. This will be an interactive experience, in which guests will be sorted into ‘Houses’ and compete to win the House Cup. There will be a chance to meet some of their favourite magical characters – as well as real owls. There are separate events for children, and adult fans of Harry Potter.

All Souls will also be hosting more traditional Christmas events, such as afternoon tea and carol singing, and a Christmas family party with Santa’s grotto. The events and activities calendar for All Souls Bolton is updated regularly, you can find out more on their website.
