Comfy seats, great audio visual experience and large car park from this modern cinema. Loads of restaurants too so you can take your pick.

Small but cosy. The prices were quite reasonable. They have a range of movies.

I normally like this theater but today I had a bad experience with an employee who must be new. He was very intrusive on our personal space & clearly lacked common sence.

One of the best cinemas I have sat in - and I'm a film/cinema nut. Comfy chairs reasonably priced extras. Don't park in their car park, park in crown wharf across the road where it is free after 6pm.

My first visit here to this very modern multi-plex cinema which I am told has only been open about 18 months.
Was very impressed how clean and comfortable it was with washrooms also clean. Went “early doors” for a fiver which gave me money for a decent lunch! The seating is super comfortable with a steep pitch to the seats for no viewing issues. Huge screen with sound to match taking film going to the next level. Congratulations to all involved. Will be returning without a doubt.

Spontaneously visited this cinema on a Saturday afternoon after shopping nearby.

Booking was easy online - liked being able to pick your seats and print tickets in the foyer.

Loved the intimate and cosy feeling of this cinema. The Green Room is a great touch and we will definitely back on an evening to have a drink or two with the film.

Also loved the refillable popcorn and drink - definitely don't buy 2 if there's two of you! You get one refill during the film which is great value. I usually find the price of refreshments appalling and cinema however this makes it reasonable.

The cinema itself is smaller than usual but seats are so comfy with plenty of room.

The only reason I haven't scored this as 5 star is parking. You have to pay upfront which isn't ideal. It would be good if you can pay on exit or get your ticket refunded with your purchase of tickets or refreshments.

Great cinema comfy seats. Ticket collection machines weren't working and then on going to the main till it seemed some of the staff didn't care much about serving. First visit here though hopefully just a one off.

Me & two friends went to see a film at the light cinema, we found the staff very helpful & polite. One of my friends is disabled & they took extra care of her. The seats were comfortable & screens clear. Drinks & snacks are available & the usual kind of prices. Parking is just outside & there are restaurants & a pub very close by. Will definitely return.

From booking our seats on line was easy, all we had to do was show the email confirmation/ticket to the attendant no queuing. We purchased hot chocolate and a glass of wine from the Green room which we were able to take into the cinema. Our seats were comfortable with room and great view of a very good film. Must add all areas of the cinema was very clean.

The Light is very new, and is well laid out: there is a good selection of films and very comfortable seating.
The only general disadvantage is the car-park, which is easily filled (it is being expanded) and requires pre-payment -which means you have to guess when you will be leaving!
Specifically there is a disadvantage for those with disability walking; although there is a lift, once you enter the screen you walk along an uphill corridor in darkness, and then face a choice of front row or climbing stairs. As you choose seats when buying tickets in the foyer, it is worth knowing this beforehand!
All of the foyer services are on the level with the outside pavement, so general access is not a problem: there are disabled parking spaces ( not many) and these are at the same charge as for the able-bodied. There is a bus service nearby, which may be a better alternative to driving.

Very few staff around to assist. Cinema has great seats and very good unrestricted viewing. Side lights are a bit glary before the film starts and the house lights stay off during the closing credits, the aisles are illuminated but as the seating is steeply angled it's a bit uncomfortable exiting with the lights off. On the whole very good but could slightly be improved.
