Food is amazing! Went with a family of seven! Service Was not good. The lady was very tight with the salad and cold starter! We are regulars and every time we go we get a different portion! The bread which is complementary, we got a few pieces. Whereas another table got a whole big basket even though they were only four. Anyway if they don’t stop with this differentiation, no matter how good the food is we won’t go back.

our first time at chalo saturday night, was very busy very loud had to shout to each other, sat there ages before we were served a drink, the food was very good but one of our party ordered garlic chicken curry he said it tasted like a chinese curry , the rest were great we had two sort's of chips which were great, the young men serving the food to the tables were brilliant, the whole meal cost us £145 for six which was good, we finished our meal before nine thirty two of our party went as they had come from stafford we ordered our taxi and asked if we could have another four halves whilst we waited for our taxi's and was told no by the ladies behind the bar they wern't serving any more drinks it was only half past nine and they still seemed to be serving drinks in the bar which i thought was bad.

I first was looking to go somewhere with my family to enjoy a tounge tasting spice packed indian for Christmas as this place does not only do a great up the market curry which is to die for it also does a christmas dinner I couldn't belive my eyes!! When me and partner nervously ordered for the first time we was on the edge of the couch waiting patiently for a car to pull up and our nostrils to be jam packed with great fragrance. It was just that... we ripped open the bag to find inside our prized curryCarefully tipping in onto our preheated warm plates we was careful that we wouldn't loose a drop. Sitting down to our mid week treat we carefully took a spoonful and as it entered our mouths we was shaking in excitement Let me tell you now it was the most satisfying experience ever ... the chicken was succlentent and seasoned with spice the sauce was perfection and just the spice I liked it a good bum burner. The keema special rice was packed with flavour and the naan was crisped just how we like it ... 5 star curry house we both paid for this experience how ever the next day as we had real ring sting !!! Defo go you will not be disappointed
