Brilliant place 👏

Good screen. Staff pleasant. However drinks are pricey. 4 drinks and a popcorn which was £26.25 cost more than the film we paid to see.

I just adore this cinema. Always a real treat to come here and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

This is genuinely my favourite place to be, always has the movies I want on. It even serves food and has a cute sitting area with a little free arcade machine thing. It's always clean too

We've been regulars at the Walsall Light for a few years now, so decided to book in for the Euros Quarter Finals game so we could watch the England match in a special environment. As part of the package, we also got a drink and a pizza, so we were raring to go.

It was such an exciting evening, made all the better for the atmosphere the staff encouraged. Colin is an absolute credit to the team, he did everything he could to make us comfortable and ensure we had a really fun night, singing with us, encouraging celebration, and taking photos. We'll be booking in here for any other matches we manage to get through, and hopefully the Light hosts more live events that we can go to. It's such a lovely feeling to be a part of a group again after a year of lockdown. Well done Colin, keep it up!

Customer service is always great here! The place is well presented too, with no messing around when it comes to setting out rules to adhere to covid guidelines... Despite the fact the general public don't seem to follow them!

Really clean and plenty of space can also have a alcoholic beverage

I have been a member at this cinema for years now and love coming here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is great also, would highly recommend.

Very nice cinema and the chap who greeted us at the door ( Irish accent ) was one of the nicest people I have met in a long time, which in my opinion goes a long way, he even took time to say goodbye as we left. Cinema itself is clean and comfortable. The only gripe I have is the toilets were a bit dodgy, one toilet was completely blocked the other didn't work leaving only one to use, also no soap . Wouldn't stop me visiting the cinema again though. Also make sure you download the pay by phone app for the car park as the machines for cash are not working

Recently visited this place FINALLY after lockdown, the cinema for me as a kid and now as an Dad is one of the best most exciting things to do, the suprise, intrigue and overall experience is just magical, sadly I think this will be lost in the not so distant......

HOWEVER back to the story, we recently visited to watch Raya and the Last Dragon, a film my 3 year old had been waiting for, for so long. We were booked in at 3.45 but due to being a Daddy day, even after there toy shop stop we were quite a bit early.....

We headed toward TGI Fridays next door to grab some food and that was closed....so we happily decided to check out what the cinema had in store food wise.

Greeted by the Gaffer (A very polite Irish accent fellow) who went along fantastically, When I informed this was a total surprise for my little lady. He explained all the protocol and you genuinely felt like he wanted to welcome you back PERSONALLY, that he had missed people sharing the nostalgia and time with their families as was I. Checked us in, we ordered our food and took a seat at the table. We didn't have any payment cards on us as we were using cash (ROOKIE MISTAKE - TYPICAL DAD MOVE) and they were only set up for contactless, not a problem, said gaffer came straight over and rectified the problem and really helped us out when he didn't really have to as it was my error.

We sat down and within minutes our pizza and fries arrived, tasty and a good portion, my little one enjoyed it to say the least. So now at 1.30pm we've eaten and were waiting..... We got the new toys out the car and asked if we are able to sit at the table for a while until it was time to go through, not only did this guy allow it but he also told his man on the door to let us pass and showed us to the VIP waiting room / Relax room to play with her new toys in a comfortable environment, now maybe minor to others, to me this was a big move and something I won't forget, gestures such as this separate good folk from the usual 'employees' and it just further demonstrated this guy's will for a dad and his daughter to have the greatest experience possible, almost as if he could tell what it meant to us to be there.

We waited until our showing and had an hour or so playing with her toys and the retro games provided in complete comfort and without bother.

I'm one who remembers exceptional service and this certainly nailed that description, so much that I found the guy afterward outside and thanked him for all he did, told him he made our day and it was greatly appreciated.

Again I just want to echo that and say Thank you to you personally, it really was a fantastic day that myself and Esmé will remember for many years. Without your assistance it would have been a very good day, with it it was faultless.

You didn't have to go above and the fact you did says alot about you.

This may be a bit over the top as a stand alone review, but I believe in giving back

Couldn't recommend enough and will CERTAINLY be back, should I not be banned for writing an essay 📝🤣!
