Walsall cinema not bad ot would be perfect if staff would pay more attention behind till because last time I payed for for combo with popcorn and drink and with that I ordered a latte but only got that latte and popcorn so I was force to pay for a new drink which I was completely scamed by that person so I didn't want to spend time arguing or telling the whole story to taht person so I just went to watch the film but I love this place not bad

Went to watch 'one love' yesterday and the attendant named Phil was absolutely fantastic! He made me and others smile and laugh out loud 😃 what a guy!!..had to leave a review just for him..I hope the management team appreciate you Phil..!!

Fabulous cinema, good staff, well run. The seats are comfy which is vital of course.
Prices are insane hahah! However that's standard for any multiplex these days.
I recommend this theatre, and I also recommend you go on a weekday matinee if you can for the discount.

Me and my boyfriend went to this cinema 3 years before we got the membership just last year. This was one of the best decisions we've made as it saves us so much money and the staff are amazing, they are all so kind and hospitable, the rooms are always clean, as are the toilets.

Like the cinema often go, very clean throughout, comfortable chairs but not very warm, had to sit with coat on.

Great little cinema in the middle of Walsall, always have plenty on if you can keep an eye on site for when things will be screened.
The Rewind showings are always a great idea in my opinion so whoever was behind the ideas deserves kudos.
Screens are all clean and you are able to take drinks up with you, the main upstairs area has an old school cinema vibe which I love.
Only major issue is parking, I often come and watch films over 2 hours long which means if I park I'm paying over 3 quid a go which I find annoying when the Crown Wharf car park over the road is always empty. If your coming alone for a film you can be looking at 15 quid just for an easy night out. Would be nice if The Light could look into something which would help customers at least pay less for this. Nearest cinema to The Light is Cineworld at Bentley Bridge where parking is free so it's a slight mark off from me on that alone.
Have recently decided to purchase a monthly membership as there's just so much coming on in 2024 that I want to watch but hopefully a free and safe parking option can become available.

The Light I've been too a few times and always had good service.
I went there last Saturday to watch the new movie about the American Samoa football team - it's a great movie I advise you watch it.
I purchased a QR code ticket and waited for my turn in the line - they were quite busy which is fair enough.
The team member seemed bored and grumpy - and when I said I had a QR code she sighed heavily and reached down for the scanner. This to me is bad service - but some people have bad days especially in hospitality.
I additionally purchased nachos and a tango ice blast - the ice blast you do yourself which is a great way if all the machines were working properly. The cup was slammed down onto the table Infront of me, and the nachos were poor. Stale, with a small amount of cheese and salsa - most of them were plain nachos which don't taste nice.
All in all, I liked the movie and I got what I wanted out of my visit - however if you are ordering food just expect it to be very expensive and not the greatest quality.
