The healing art of yoga has been around in various forms for hundreds, possibly thousands of years. Yoga is a comprehensive practice designed to increase flexibility, tone and strength the body, soothe the mind and nourish the soul.
Jo started practicing yoga in her early twenties. In 2012, she completed her forma training RYA 200 hour certificate in London. Since then she has continued her training with many inspirational trainers such has Rod Stryker (Para Yoga) John Scott, Liz Lark, Manju Jois and more recently she has started styuding Ashtanga Vinyasa with Rolf and Marci Naujokat in Goa, India.
Jo offers clear and concise instructions, adjustments and modifications to suit every individual’s needs. She inspires and encourages every student to develop at his or her own pace with a steady mind and gentle heart.
She is a dedicated yoga instructor, committed to sharing these teachings for the benefit of all, regardless of age, level of fitness, lifestyle or spiritual leanings.
Jo runs her classes at Peake Fitness, every Thursday morning 11.30am until 12.30pm.
