Where you can buy a pint of Golden Willow Beer
25th May 2016

On Saturday, we held the launch of a brand new beer, brewed by Nethergate and assisted by myself (I like to see myself as an apprentice brewer now) The beer was created especially to raise money and awareness for The Willow Foundation - the charity supported by the fabulous music festival, LeeStock, which is taking place 28-29th May at Melford Hall.

It's our target to raise £1000 for the Willow Foundation. We've raised 10% of that target just from the raffle. Nethergate are donating per firkin sold and we're hoping that the pubs that sell the beer, will donate a little too. Here's the justgiving page set up especially.

The evening was a huge success and I'd like to thank The Bijoux Toots for providing some great tunes and the Waggon and Horses for having us.

Nethergate's network of pubs has meant the beer will be onsale, not just in Sudbury, but across the whole region. Here's where you can buy a pint or two. You're best of check with the pub when the beer will be on, as some have beer festivals over the weekend or are just taking delivery of the beer over the next couple of days. And if your pub or local isn't included, get in touch quickly before it's all gone. The good people of Sudbury managed to make a decent dent on Saturday at The Waggon and Horses.
