Sponsors Announce for this year's Taste of Sudbury Festival, 11th June 2017

The Taste of Sudbury is delighted to announce The Long Melford Swan as headline sponsor of this year’s festival.

Justine Paul, who took over the organising of this year’s festival says” I am absolutely delighted, and honoured, to announce that this year we have secured brilliant headline sponsorship from The Long Melford Swan and there is other financial investment from The Great House, Rafi’s Spicebox, Menta, Suffolk Secrets and Holmes and Hills solicitors. Having this support from such fantastic local businesses makes a huge difference to the future of the event.’

There is a brand new line of Suffolk’s most exciting chefs, who will be taking to the stage throughout the day. Plus a wonderful array of over fifty producers and street food vendors packing Market Hill and St Peters Church.

Stallholders this year include freshly baked bread from Wooster’s Bakery, a wonderful range of culinary herbs from Herbal Haven, locally produced biltong, top quality jams from The Jam Shed, a fantastic range of sauces from Stokes, chilli sauces from The East Coast Chilli Company and locally distilled spirits from The English Distillery Company.

Hot food stalls will include Longhorn beef burgers, Mac n Cheese, gourmet chorizo sandwiches and bowls of cheesy nachos with Pimms, Prosecco, craft ales, lagers and wine served from two bars run by Stock and Bailey and Gather Bars.

The line-up of chefs includes Oliver Macmillan of The Long Melford Swan, award winning James Carn of The Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds, Regis Crepy of The Great House, the Infusions Cookery Experience (ICE), Rafi’s Spicebox, Carl Shillingford, Will Wooster and a butchery demonstration by Alan Leeder, of A Leeders, Butchers in Boxford.
