Inaugural Sudbury Business Expo launches 28 April at Thomas Gainsborough School Sixth Form 

 

Sudbury, Suffolk, 1st April 2016 – TheBestOfSudbury is proud to announce that the first Sudbury Business Expo will open its doors on 28 April at the Suffolk Borders Training Alliance, Thomas Gainsborough Sixth Form, Great Cornard.  

 

Exhibition space sold out weeks ago for this extremely popular event. Twenty varied and interesting companies are exhibiting at the Expo; from marketing agencies to insurance brokers, solicitors to virtual offices. Penny Wilby, owner of TheBestOf Sudbury said: “It speaks volumes for the business community of Sudbury that our first attempt to hold a business expo has been so readily supported by thriving local businesses and entrepreneurs. Our stand space was sold out weeks in advance to an eclectic range of exciting local business people wanting to share their products and services.”

 

The Sudbury Business Expo is the first event of its type in the town and will bring local businesses from  Sudbury and South Suffolk for an evening of networking, inspiring and practical presentations and showcase great local businesses. James Cartlidge MP will be officially opening the event at 4.30pm and be staying to meet the delegates and exhibitors. Engaging presentations and seminars will be taking place throughout the evening alongside the many exhibitors’ stands. These will include:

  • Linkedin guru, Keith Grinstead sharing top tips for getting the most out of LinkedIn
  • Michelle Downey, head of thebestof, discussing The Daily Disciplines of highly successful people
  • Richard Glinn from the New Anglia Growth Hub - a government funded body that offers free business advice – demystifying the help & grants local businesses can now get to grow their businesses
  • A fun & lively speed networking event guaranteed to help expand contacts and develop new business relationships. Networking will start at 5.30pm. Attendees should book their free place online.
