Movie star to perform at charity ball in aid of Children with Cancer UK

Adrian Stohr, husband and father of three, hit the headlines over his dramatic weight loss and the need to turn his life around, that he felt was spiralling out of control. Since then, Adrian has continued to dedicate his time to the charity who gave him a second chance in life & give to those who need it most.

This is the fourth Black Tie and Posh Frocks Adrian has organised and this will be the biggest and best. This year’s event has been meticulously organised, with a special surprise in store this year.

Adrian can confirm, Dave Finnegan’s Commitments will be performing at this year’s Ball. Dave Finnegan was one of stars of the hit movie, The Commitments, playing crazy drummer Mickah Wallace.

The Commitments was released in 1991 and no one could have ever predicted the success of Alan Parkers black comedy, set in Dublin about a group of unemployed misfits who create The soul and blues band The Commitments. The film’s success launched the rebirth of the rhythm and blues genre.

So, it’s incredibly exciting to have Dave Finnigan’s Commitments performing at one of the biggest charity balls in the area.

Black Ties and Posh Frocks is to be held at the Stoke by Nayland Hotel Golf & Spa hotel on the 16th June 2018, starting at 18:30

Tickets cost £55 each or a table of ten is £500

Make sure you don’t miss out on what will be a fabulous night, with exclusive silent auction and live auction.

Adrian says, “The charity ball has become more recognised for its prestige and support to its dedicated charity Children with Cancer UK. Ever since being featured on TV and radio interviews, I have utilised these moments to keep my charity work going along with the support of this year’s corporate sponsors DL Designs of Sudbury, Force8 Security of Thetford, Brankai of Sudbury, Sudbury Iphone repairs and not forgetting The Stoke by Nayland Golf Spa Hotel. Without the support of these great local businesses,  the charity ball could not be what it is today”
