Missed the tax deadline?

If you are yet to file your self assessment tax return help is still available! But don’t delay as the new HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) penalty regime will mean that the penalties increase the longer you postpone filing your return.

An estimated 1 million taxpayers are expected to receive an automatic late filing penalty of £100 so if you have missed the deadline you are by no means alone.

We wish to ensure that any individuals who were unable to meet the deadline receive the minimum financial penalty from HMRC for late filing. An automatic £100 penalty will have been issued so far, however in some exceptional circumstances you may have grounds for appeal.

At TaxAssist Accountants we pride ourselves on the service we provide and we want to ensure that all our clients are looked after during this important period of the tax year. To arrange for your tax return to be completed, or for assistance in handling an appeal against existing late filing penalties, please get in touch as soon as possible.
