Duck in Boots, the independent gift and craft shop is returning to Sudbury town centre after an 18-month break in pursuit of new premises.
This Saturday 15th August, Duck in Boots, the family run retail business, will be operating from their new premises just off Gaol Lane, Sudbury, just a short stroll from the Town Hall and Market Hill.
Shoppers to Sudbury will be able to purchase unique and locally made gifts, as well as brands such as Wrendale & Fable.
However, in addition, the new premises come with a unique opportunity for crafters, artists and small businesses, who will be able to hire spaces on a flexible basis in brand new self-contained town centre units.
The aptly named Duck Pods are the perfect space for retail, beauty, photography or even exhibitions. During these uncertain economic times the Duck Pods offer flexible daily, weekly or monthly options. This is ideal for those starting a business or to those that have always dreamed of a being in a prime town centre location without the commitment of a long-term lease.
The Duck Pods are 2.2 X 5.8 metres, fully fitted with power lighting and heating. They are street accessible and wheelchair friendly.
Owner Sarah Underhay says “"We are really excited to be returning to the town centre after over a year of setbacks getting into larger premises. Although with Covid-19, we have had to amend our plans, we think this newly renovated site will offer a fantastic opportunity for the town as a whole because a diverse range of businesses can come into the centre of town attracting increased footfall"

Hello! I'm Penny from thebestof Sudbury, shouting about the best local businesses from Hadleigh through the Clare. When I'm not doing that, you'll find me knitting socks or tending to my 6 chickens
