David Boyden, of Boyden's Estate Agents in Sudbury, and his son Philip, are sleeping on the streets of Colchester to raise awareness and money for homelessness.

The event is The Big Sleep Out, is organised by Colchester Rotary with the money raised going to Beacon House and The Samaritans

Beacon House

Beacon House Ministries is a Christian charity that was established to help homeless people, those in insecure accommodation and those at high risk of homelessness. Beacon House offers a wide range of support services providing a necessary and vital lifeline to people who are homeless or in vulnerable tenancies.

The Samaritans

Every single day, around 16 people decide to end their own life across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The Samaritans know their service can help people before it's too late.

If you'd like to donate to David and Philip's Justgiving Page, you can click here.

Good luck David and Philip! May you raise lots of money for two very good causes
