This year we'll also have a 'Sustainable Sudbury - Upcycled Christmas Window' sub-category to coincide with new sustainability projects for Sudbury in 2023 and to showcase your strides for sustainability. The Window Display Trail will also complement our Upcycled Tyre Trail this Christmas.
The overall best-dressed festive windows will be decided by the public vote and a second 'Sustainable Sudbury - Upcycled Christmas Window' winner will be selected by a panel.
Sudbury never disappoints and each year more businesses get involved with some incredible windows, regardless of their window space (or lack of) Some businesses really get into the festive spirit.
We are also delighted to have the support of the Suffolk Free Press, who will be covering the competition and printing a voting form in their editions throughout the competition duration. And thank you to the local businesses, for providing the winner's hamper. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for getting involved.

It’s completely free to get involved and thebestof Sudbury and Sudbury Town Council will promote your window displays via their social media platforms and Christmas Window Display 2022 Competition Facebook Page.
We are also asking the local community to get involved, pledge to do their Christmas shopping in Sudbury and support the local economy and vote for their favourite window displays. Public voting will open on Friday 25th November, the night of the Christmas lights switch on and will close 5pm Tuesday 20th December, with the winners announced via Facebook live stream on Thursday & an announcement in the Suffolk Free Press.
