Attention Local Businesses in Babergh!

In the Babergh and Mid Suffolk Joint Strategic Plan both councils have made a firm commitment to support all businesses in the two districts. As well as attracting new businesses to the area, this also means helping smaller and start-up concerns facing issues in terms of access to finance, dealing with legislation and sharing ideas and best practice as they strive to grow.

In order to do this, businesses in Babergh and Mid Suffolk are invited to complete an online Open for Business survey to be in with a chance of winning up to £500.

The information gathered from the survey will be instrumental in ensuring Babergh and Mid Suffolk are able to tailor their services and target their resources. The survey results will also inform a new Economic Development Strategy that will help remove obstacles in the way of sustainable business growth and set out how the Councils will use their powers and resources to help business, including developing grant and loan funding packages, simpler planning policy and streamlining regulation.

Businesses have until 31st July 2016 to complete the survey. This will take about 10-20 minutes to complete. Some questions are mandatory, others are discretionary.
