6 reasons NOT to visit David's in Sudbury

For the last decade (or even more) I’ve been working with small businesses to help showcase their great reviews and share feedback from happy customers.

But not David Thompson.

He is most insistent that you do NOT visit his Cafe on Gainsborough Street.

And here are 6 reasons why you should steer clear

Food is cooked from scratch and won’t be churned out of the kitchen like a fast food restaurant with golden arches.
If you complain you’ll be asked not to return. There are definitely more appropriate establishments you’ll want to visit instead
Owner David is somewhat eccentric, so don’t pop in expecting a run of the mill restaurant owner
David’s has a strict no children policy. So, if you’re thinking of popping with your children, don’t because you will get turned away. There are lots of family friendly places in Sudbury, that have ample room for pushchairs and highchairs, but David’s is not one of them. He likes his cafe to be an oasis of calm, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of modern life.
As well as the no under 15 policy. ccording to one reviewer on TripAdvisor, David looks like the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
David insists on chatting with his customers, a lot. So if you're in a rush, don’t bother popping in

If these don’t put you off, then you may want to give David’s a try tentatively.
