Love cricket? Love Harry Potter? Love spending a day in the sunshine supporting charity and local sport?
Well this Sunday (25th August) sees the famous All Star Bunbury Cricket Club XI take on Ex-MCC YC’ XI in a crunch match of entertaining cricket.
With famous celebrities such as the Weasley Twins from Harry Potter and Rupert Young from BBC’s Merlin joining sporting and cricket legends such as Australian fast bowing superstar, Jeff Thomson, England Rugby World Cup winner, Lewis Moody, England Cricket international Paul Nixon and Arsenal favourite Perry Groves, the day promises to be a fantastic celebration of sport.
There’s a licenced bar, a Bombardier Beer Bus, children’s play area, food stalls, coffee and tea, face painting, bouncy castle and even a fire engine on hand to keep the crowd entertained throughout the day.
All proceeds go to Help For Heroes and The Afghanistan Trust, and entry is just £5 + £2 for the car park, under 12’s go free and the gates open at 12.30pm with play starting at 2pm. The venue is the beautiful cricket ground in Widford; Bell Lane, Widford Nr Ware, SG12 8SH
