Time For Carnival!

Welcome to the Hertford blog.

This weekend The Hertford Carnival makes a welcome return to our streets, and fingers crossed the weather will remain at bay!

This year the celebration is town wide, with the colourful procession of floats parading through our streets from 2pm, and the party continuing around the town and especially on Hartham Common afterwards!

There’s loads to see and do, including a classic car show, 70 local groups and businesses exhibiting themselves, an entertainment arena, model railway at The Hertford Museum, open churches across Hertford, Hertford Symphony Orchestra performing at The Hertford Theatre and plenty more to keep you entertained.

There will be road closures, so if you’re planning on travelling through Hertford, please find another route between 1.50pm and 4pm to make life easier!

Finally a BIG THANK YOU to The Hertford Rotary Club for once again organising this fantastic event. Hertford owes you a lot for the hard work you tirelessly put into the town.

Thanks for reading and enjoy!
