With our summer holiday choices severely restricted by CoVID, many of us are discovering (or rediscovering) amazing UK destinations. As well as avoiding complicated foreign travel red tape, many of us are pleased to be supporting UK businesses in tough times.

So, where are you off to in summer 2021? Are you beach fanatics? Do you prefer city breaks, or great walks in our national parks? I hope you find something special for you and your family. Even if it rains a bit, we all can benefit from a change of scene and new places to explore.

Over-packer or minimalist?

For many of us, however hard we try to cut back, we end up taking far more clothes and products than we can ever hope to use!

Others have packing down to a fine art and have mastered the trick of choosing clothes and products which can multi-task and minimise the weight of our luggage. We don’t always have the luxury of someone willing to carry our suitcase for us!

But I’m packing for the whole family!

Persuading some family members regarding sensible packing choices can be difficult, particularly when each has their own favourites. So we can, perhaps, pick a few key battles and select some products the whole family can use, whilst still allowing, for example, a favourite perfume or aftershave.

With families or groups of friends, clearly there is likely to be a range of ages and skin types to cater for. So, products with minimal fragrance content, together with minimal known allergens, are important. Of course, where one of the group is known to have particular skin issues, extra care is needed and their trusted product may have to be included for their wellbeing.
