Perfume for Spring and Summer

Why rethink my fragrance for Spring and Summer?
Many of us have a favourite fragrance which works for us. Sometimes it’s very versatile for any time of year. Other times we, or others, may think it was fine over the colder weather period. However, we or they may not be so comfortable with that fragrance choice when we’re out and about more in lighter and sunnier times.

Spring and Summer often remind us of new flowers and new beginnings. We want to emerge from the protective bubble of constant central heating and windows shut against the onslaught of heavy rain, wind, frost and snow etc.

What triggers a much valued memory for you in Spring or Summer? Do you love the scent of apples, roses, gardenia, orange blossom?

Just like colours, favourite scents are a personal thing. If you have a favourite scent or ingredient do let me know. I’d love to help you find a fragrance which includes your favourite scent memory and works with your personal skin chemistry.

Please remember, we’re all different and what sounds good on a tv ad is not necessarily going to work on our skin!

How do I know which fragrance works for me?

Good question! If you have a fragrance you like and people like on you, then you’re on the right track.

Sometimes, an old favourite no longer works for you. That could be because the scent in the bottle you’ve had for ages has deteriorated. Sometimes, you’ve changed medication etc and that has changed your skin chemistry. That’s the way it can go, so do please be prepared to experiment anew! That can be fun!

It may be time to try some new testers on your skin and see which do or do not work for you. If we have 10 people in a room, one fragrance can smell very different within that group.

Fragrances go from head notes – the ones we smell immediately but disappear very quickly – to the fragrance notes which follow and last a few minutes more – to the base notes which stay with us for most of the day and are the ones people smell on us long after the initial spray from the bottle. This is why we should allow at least 20 minutes after spraying a fragrance on our skin before deciding whether or not we will wear the fragrance longer term.

How can I help you choose?
With my association with FM perfumes, I have a full kit of testers. This allows me to find out your preferences and show you which work for you and which fight your skin chemistry.

We only try a small number on our skin at any one time, or it becomes hard for our untrained noses to work out which scent is which. Before that, we can smell a few fragrances and learn which we like – or not.

How do FM source fragrances?
We’ve heard it all many times over the years!

No – we’re not rip off, knock off or any such suspect phrase!

FM sources its fragrances, in the same way many endorsed high street brands do, from a reputable perfume manufacturer. In this case, we work with Drom. FM buys many fragrances ‘off the shelf’ and bottles and packages ‘in house’.

FM can do this at very favourable prices as we do not use celebrity endorsements or tv advertising to sell our perfumes. I say perfumes, as FM provides perfume content of 20% or more, whereas other brands offer much reduced perfume content.

‘White labelling’ allows varying brands to package and name their ‘off the shelf’ product as they see fit. This is why many of us recognise that going around department stores and duty free will result in us thinking ‘I’ve smelt that before!’

How do I check this out?
If you would like to find out more about FM and how to save money on your fragrances whilst gaining high quality and lasting scents, please contact me without any obligation.

A simple fragrance testing will show you what does and does not work for you.

In these hard times, many have told me they appreciate the good prices I am offering from my current stock. So, please message me and check it all out.

Looking forward to helping you find a scent that works for you or your loved one.

With best wishes,
Pam
