Being known in the area for helping redesign inherited jewellery, it comes as no surprise that we have had an incredible year for melting down customer's own metal and creating something new for them to love and cherish for the rest of their lives.
It is often the case that though we are always grateful for what we inherit and it has sentimental meaning, the designs mostly don’t always appeal. We feel guilty about disregarding the piece but also feel guilty about change. We can help ease that pain a little by guaranteeing the use of your inherited metal to create something that you will love and wear, that way, granny will always be with, just in a slightly different form.
Meltdown designs need to be simple but have the added bonus of also being able to include stones, so if you're lucky enough to have a few diamonds laying around, why not put them in the design too?
