The weather is well and truly hot, hot, hot!! At the time of writing, it’s Sunday evening, it’s nearly 30c and England have not long ago won a fantastic first test match against Australia in the Ashes.
With the school Summer holidays starting next week, a question on most parents lips is; where can I take my kids?
Well, within 5 minutes of Hertford lies the lovely town of Ware and its brilliant outdoor swimming pool known as Ware Lido!
Open from 2pm daily, the Ware Lido is the perfect place to cool down after a hot morning of running around after the kids, just remember to bring lots of sun cream and drinks, because there’s little shade at the lido, but once there it’s brilliant! With the sun shining, the cooling water is lovely, kids really enjoy it and parents can get some sneaky sun in!
