Perhaps a little out of the jurisdiction of Hertford, but for an equally good cause, Herts Air Ambulance is holding its second annual Rotor Roam and Rotor Run in Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage.
The 5km (3.1 mile) event takes place on September 26th, not only will there be the walk and run, but a fun day is also planned. Amongst attractions such as a climbing wall and bouncy castle, the air ambulance will also be there with a unique chance to meet the crew. On the same day is National Walk For Life Day, so the event which starts at 10am (race starts at 11am) ties nicely in with that.
