ATTENTION ALL HERTFORD BASED BIRDWATCHERS

It wasn't just the Sonisphere festival that was flying high at Knebworth over the weekend.

Endangered birds of prey have now been viewed there as well.  Red Kites have now set up home at Knebworth House near Hertford, which has resulted in a stampede of bird enthusiasts to visit Knebworth and view the beautiful creatures.

The forked tail birds of prey have been spotted soaring, diving and spiralling in the air at the stately home.  Following an extensive protection programme numbers of the Red Kite are begining to rise.

So to view these beautiful birds of prey in all their glory what better way to see them than with the RSPB who are holding a 4 day event at the park between 11am and 5pm from August 12th to 15th.  They will have a viewing trailer where their helpers can give you the best advice in how to spot the famous Red Kite.
