This Is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s lovely. Great location and me and my husband slept well.
I would however say that there were too few staff on at breakfast and fried eggs ran out and I waited about 5 mins still none so I just left it. We waited for someone to show us to a table but after 3 mins just sat on one ourselves. No one came and asked us about tea or coffee. The few staff they did have on were brilliant; hard working and polite. But it was very obvious they were run off their feet.
Pool is beautiful though.

Accommodation excellent. Spa lovely. Staff very helpful but suffering shortages like all hospitality. That was the only downside. Will certainly come back as it has been a great stay and I'm sure it will be more than 5 star then

Booked an afternoon tea for my husband's birthday for while we were on holiday in Guernsey. After reading afternoon tea reviews on here and elsewhere i wasn't sure what to expect but the cost was so reasonable i had to give it a go. We also ordered a children's afternoon tea for our 4 year old.

In summary we thought it was brilliant! A lot of reviews were about the service but I think when you consider that the staff are humans too and treat them with respect that everything moves along much more nicely. Our service was brilliant, when they clicked that it was my husbands birthday they put him a birthday plate together as well as our afternoon tea!

The sandwiches were fluffy, they took into account my husband's intolerance of citrus fruits and dislike of fish! My selection was delicious, and the children's afternoon tea was really generous!

The scones were warm (extra points gained there!) with plenty of clotted cream (I read someone didn't think they had enough... just ask for more?) and the cakes on offer were a lovely selection.

All in all we had a lovely visit with a bottomless teapot (just ask!) And we had a lovely walk around the lake afterwards where we spotted dragonflies, ducks and picked up a couple of MASSIVE pinecones (I hope that's ok St Pierre hotel and spa!)

Booked directly for a week in August. Put in front room, with tiny 1 person balcony facing the hotel entrance, with no privacy, and no sunshine after AM. Room needs a bit of TLC, but I believe up-grading is on-going. Rear and side facing rooms seem much nicer, with larger balcony and better views. Staff are very nice and friendly. BF is average - not the best. Bar food also average. Nice grounds, with lake and fountain. Lots of friendly ducks, but watch out for duck poos!
For anyone wanting to take the bus from the Airport - take any bus (avoid no 71 as it takes much longer) to the Town Terminal, then take no. 41 or 42, come off at Waitrose. Costs £1.25. Your ticket from the airport allows free "transfer" to the second bus.

Geslapen in de comfortroom. Heerlijke bedden. Kamer met koelkastje. Elke dag een flesje water en koffie/thee om zelf met behulp van de waterkoker op de kamer te maken. Balkon viel tegen. Was erg klein.
Guernsey verkenden.

Lovely hotel, ideally situated to get into St. Peter Port easily and not too far from the airport.
My room, as advertised, had a lovely view of the garden and lake; sitting outside at the terrace bar enjoying a drink on a summer's evening you will also get to appreciate this view and that was a lovely way to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful both at reception and also particularly, Richard in the Victor Hugo restaurant, who was very friendly and accommodating. I wasn't sure I'd like a dish (the Jacob's Ladder) as it was supposed to be served, he suggested some alterations and then the chef was more than happy to adapt it for me. The food was excellent and I will definitely eat in the VH restaurant again on my next stay.

Overall a lovely hotel, the management and staff both in the Restaurant, Reception and Bar could not have been more helpful, facilities are excellent and the grounds are beautifully kept, we enjoyed watching the ducks on the lake too.

I recently stayed at St Pierre Park Hotel and what an absolutely amazing experience. I travelled with my 3 year old and this was a very last minute booking. Every single member of staff were excellent, they made us feel welcome, accommodated the needs of my 3 year old and nothing was any trouble at all.

The accommodation was comfortable and we had absolutely everything we needed for our 8 day stay.

I would recommend St Pierre Park Hotel over and over again.

This would have been at least a four star review - the staff were all extremely pleasant and the hotel itself was well kept, despite there being not much in the way of frills. Our stay was spoiled, however, by the arrival on our corridor of a large group of teenage boys (competing in some kind of sports event) for several nights, meaning constantly slamming doors and noise until late - more like being in a frat house than a resort hotel. The receptionist sent up a manager when we complained, but it made no difference. If you're looking for a peaceful, restful holiday you might want to consider somewhere smaller as St Pierre Park is a sizeable hotel that clearly takes large group bookings.

A short stay in July and I cannot fault anything.
I was a single traveller and initially was put in a room with a connecting door. Not ideal but the occupants next door and I said hello in the corridor and all was ok. That was until change over and my new 'neighbours' decided to try the door!
I spoke with the Duty Manager (a wonderful man) and was moved immediately. The only room available was a deluxe and I was not charged extra for the reminder of my stay.
Both rooms I had were absolutely fine. Both were more than adequate; hairdryer, iron/board, fridge, tea/coffee, hot chocolate, water still & sparkling, bathroom was huge with wonderful smelling toiletries. Both had view's of the grounds.
The only difference in the rooms were that the deluxe had air conditioning, a coffee machine, dressing gowns and slippers.
House keeping staff were friendly, a morning 'hello' and extremely helpful.
I only had breakfast at the hotel and again the teams were fantastic. As a single traveller they try and sit you near the window so you don't feel your in a goldfish bowl! Very thoughtful. One morning I wanted to take breakfast to go, a wonderful waiter fetched a container so I could 'grab & go'!
Didn't use the pool but did use the gym. It's a little out dated and could do with an overhaul but I could still manage a workout.
I use to live on Guernsey so know of the hotel over many years. Having now stayed there as a guest, would I recommend, definitely
