Whether you want a first class stay or something more relaxed for a short break, weekend getaway, bed and breakfast or an extended holiday, Herm Island has it all.

The White House Hotel

With its variety of delightful rooms, cosy lounge, bar, award winning gardens, spectacular views, pool, and first class food and wine, The White House will not disappoint. Getting away from all the hustle and bustle and unwinding is all part of the charm and character of Herm so you won't find televisions, clocks or telephones interrupting your peace and quiet.

Self-Catering Cottages

For a home from home and the best of all worlds, Herm's holiday cottages, apartments and pine log cabins are comortably furnished with well-equipped kitchens. Some have open fires and their own garden and most are fully centrally heated and double glazed. To add to your convenience there is a small grocery shop where you can pre-order your requirements to be delivered to your door on arrival.

Camping

For those who enjoy being at one with the outdoors, camping in Herm is available at the island central Seagull site where you can hire spacious, fully-equipped tents or pitch your own. The site has breath-taking views of Sark and France and is just a few minutes from the cliff path leading to Belvoir Bay. With its fantastic facilities including a modern shower block and on site warden, you can feel safe and enjoy your holiday.

Wine & Dine

Herm Island hosts a selection of dining choices from a more formal environment at The White House Hotel's Conservatory Restaurant to a relaxed experience at the Ship Inn Brasserie or the Black Rock Grill at The Mermain Tavern. The island's beach cafes and harbour village snack bar offer a variety of sandwiches, hot and cold drinks which you can enjoy whilst sitting on your favourite beach.

The Conservatory Restaurant

This AA Rosette restaurant offers first class dining with stunning sea views across to Guernsey and is a prime location to witness glorious sunsets. The restaurant is proud to offer locally sourced fresh fish and shellfish wherever possible and has one of the most extensive wine lists in the Channel Islands.

The Ship Inn Brasserie

Open for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner, The Ship Inn is a popular restaurant whether you choose to sit outside enjoying drinks and lunch in the sun or snuggled up by the open fire in the colder weather. The Brasserie offers a wide selection of dishes including a children's menu and serves tea and coffee throughout the day with cakes and cream teas. In the afternoon you can also enjoy their speciality ice creams. With no dress or age restrictions and a relaxed, informal atmosphere, you are guaranteed a fabulous menu, with wines selected from cellars at excellent prices.

Black Rock Grill

A unique, delicious, healthy and interactive popular dining experience where your meal is presented cooking on volcanic rocks and served to your taste . Pre-booking is advised, dress is casual, families are welcome and a children's menu is available.

Herm boasts a wide range of activities to enjoy whether you are visiting on a day trip or for a longer stay. The White House Hotel can cater for a wide range of corporate hospitality options including business meetings and lunches in the 'Hermetier' meeting room or a large marquee on the hotel lawns overlooking the sea. Herm Trident Ferry

Sails daily from St Peter Port Harbour in Guernsey usually from Cambridge Steps but depending on tides can also depart from either Weighbridge or Inter Island Quay.
