Feb 17 – Pancake Race, Union Corner Hall. Enter a team of 4 for £6 – Fun afternoon, run as knockout tournament. Refreshments, craft stalls etc.
March 9 – Quiz Night at Heathfield Community Centre.7.30pm Tables of up to 6 - £6 per person, includes light supper. Bring your own drinks.
Apr 20 – Heffle Cuckoo Fair, Cade Street, Heathfield - large event with funfairs, craft stalls, entertainment, displays and demonstrations, music, barn dance.
Apr 28 – Fashion Show and Afternoon Tea – Summerheath Hall. Hailsham. Show and sale of new and nearly new fashions and accessories, with afternoon tea and homemade cakes.
May 3 – Spring Mini Market, Quintins shopping centre, Hailsham – cakes, bric a brac, jewellery, tombola, toys etc. (Demelza’s Go Dotty Week)
July 17th– Open Garden at Northiam. (more details to follow)
July 20 – Tombola at The Hawthorns Summer Fair, Eastbourne.
Aug 3 /4 - Jazz Festival at Butlers Farmhouse,Herstmonceux – several bands, barbecue, licensed bar, cream teas, tombola, open, garden tours. Sat 12 noon – 9pm. & Sun 12 noon – 7pm.
Sept 7 – Bangers and Mash Supper at Union Corner Hall, Hailsham.
3-course meal with choice of starters and pudds. Sausage Mash and Peas (with choice of vegetarian sausages). £10 per head. (more details to follow)
Sept 7 – 15 – Hailsham Festival of Arts - many venues supporting Demelza throughout Hailsham and surrounding villages.
