Process and Offers

I haven’t been bowling in a very long time but when my other half shared photos of her and a friend bowling, I thought it would be fun to check out what it was all about.

Firstly, the website was easy to navigate, and the offers were clear. We opted to try out the 2 games and food option which came in at £40 for the two of us.

Paying online was easy and when we got to the counter, they found my booking, and everything was simple. After confirming our bowling lane, we went to the bar to collect our drinks and it was game on!

Bowling Shoes

I really showed my age by asking where we got our bowling shoes but that isn’t a thing anymore… so make sure you were appropriate footwear.

The Game

The lights are down low and lots of glowing surroundings give you a great atmosphere. Lots of excitement from all the lanes around you but even though it was busy we didn’t find the need to shout to be heard.

We played for around an hour for both games and once I settled on the right bowling ball, I saw an increase in my play style and overall score. The excitement of getting a strike or spare brought out our competitive side…

Food & Drink

The bar area was very busy, and we had a wait for both drinks and to collect our food order, but the staff were friendly and when we gave them our chosen table number, we took our seats and waited.

We both had cheeseburgers and it was a simple bun, burger patty and cheese. For the price, it was pretty good value if basic but for younger children, I expect these are spot on!

Verdict

I have got the bowling bug again and yes; I plan to return and continue to increase my score! Fun for all the family and gets two thumbs up from me.
