Meet Cooden Tax Consulting at the #EBtweetup
13th March 2016

I am looking forward to seeing you at the April #EBtweetup. I will be talking to you about Research and Development Tax Relief but please don’t let that put you off coming along. It really is an interesting subject though it may not be relevant for your business, it might be relevant for a family member or a friend’s company, so I would love to see you there. I will try and make it interesting, but do please remember that deep down I am still an accountant!

I’ve had a really exciting time since I joined thebestof Eastbourne and started to meet all of you lovely people at the #EBtweetup or thebestof Marketing Meetings:

  • I have a new website
  • I have a Social Media specialist
  • I have a Sales and Marketing coach (sorry David)
  • I have a Business Coach
  • I have a Virtual Assistant helping me with the little things
  • I have a telephone answering service
  • I am on the verge of hiring a new employee (who knows they might be an employee by the time the #EBtweetUp comes around)

I am going to exhibit at the largest show in the UK for Accountants, Finance Directors and CEOs

I don’t think it would be fair to say it was because I joined thebestof Eastbourne, some of it had already started before that, but I think I can put it down to being inspired by the people around thebestof Eastbourne and the #EBtweetup, both give you a bit more confidence that you aren’t alone in the perennial struggle of running a Small Business.

Before you get bored and stop reading, let me tell you a quick little bit about what I love most about what I do. Firstly I get to help some great SMEs get some badly needed cashflow into their business. Secondly, I get to see some really exciting projects before they are finished or as they hit the streets. I might try and tell you about a few.

So I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 5th April about 6pm, be nice to me, leave the rotten tomatoes at home, or at least put them in a bag so they don’t make too much of a mess!

Oh an one other thing, David suggested that I could mention in my next blog that I managed to get a drink out of him, the rare occurrence happened on Thursday night at #WiredEB at the Towner.
