Heathercroft Training Academy recently won two contracts with East Sussex County Council regarding the Multiply scheme. You may have heard about this on the local radio stations or Social Media pages.

This means that your staff who are 19+ years old may be eligible for a fully government-funded (free) short maths course. The courses are an hour a week for six weeks, and are designed to help your employees with real-world uses of maths that will be useful in the workplace – no abstract calculus or algebra etc!

  • The eligibility is 19+, East Sussex resident, less than a level 2 or equivalent in maths – the only exception to this is for those who are 50+ and whose qualification is out of date – O’ levels/CSEs.
  • Multiply offers easy access to free numeracy courses and initiatives that can help you brush up your maths skills and help you become more confident with numbers. Whether you need help in managing your bills, budgeting or you want to improve your potential at work.
  • No limit on learners put forward
  • The employer receives £120.00 for each learner that completes the 6 hours over 6 weeks
  • Learning online

If there is anyone within the company that you feel may benefit from this, then please do not hesitate to contact Heathercroft Training Academy
