Visiting Eastbourne for work and tried this place. Really lovely old-fashioned fish and chip restaurant. Great service, very good batter on the fish and a decent price. Would recommend.

The team at the restaurant are exactly that; a team. Their Portuguese chatter adds a kind of authenticity to the event even though it's going to be simple meal and a pleasant hour spent.<br>It's the food; of course; the decor is charming, aged and pre-colour TV so who cares? Warbling, forgotten, or even unknown singers rumble away as you eat but the waiters are attentive, smiling and even taught us a few words or Portuguese on or last visit. Better this than another clone or corporate mega-firm Best Steve & Marcus

Always go here every year. Forget the other fish shops. This is the restaurant to get great fish and chips. My wife and I ate cod and chips and it was excellent.
