Brilliant shop. We use them for so many things - cards, wrapping paper, gifts. We especially love their balloon service and have used this many times - for decorations at parties, to say happy birthday, and to say congratulations.

We had Paperlane do some balloons for a 40th Wedding Anniversary party in October and they were amazing!! In fact we have only just disposed of them to make way for Christmas - even though thy were still going strong!!

Came in a few days ago, and was amazed at the fantastic variety of Christmas decorations and gifts and the gorgeous balloons! I only meant to stay for a few minutes but stayed for ages, buying loads! I love the fact that you have kept the traditional feel that so many shops have lost. It was a real Christmas experience!

We recently had an in store event, and Paperlane made us an amazing balloon arch for the doorway and some matching balloons for inside. Fantastic service, including delivery and set up on a very cold morning! Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of meeting Sam at Paperlane on many occasions and I marvel at her wondrous creations that she makes for some of the larger wedding fairs that I've been to. I can honestly say that I would never use anyone else. When it comes to honesty, quality, value for money, help, and a friendly atmosphere, there really is no other place that can set your event as well as Paperlane. She also has two sets of stunning love lights that are amazing when lit. In the heart of Eastbourne, even if you don't have a need for balloons, chair covers, sashes, lights etc, it's a great shop to go and just mooch around in. All round 5* top quality service from start to finish. Am I biased ? Yes! because when there's a service like this.. Why go anywhere else! ?

I LOVE Paperlane, it's not only a newsagent but is the biggest and best for balloons and Sam and the team have come up with super ideas for weddings ! Personally I love the gift section in there, it's a shop I pop in to regularly to find unusual gift ideas for my friends and family. Sam and the team are so friendly and helpful too. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before 😄

These guys were the best, our venue let us down and we couldn't set up the day before our wedding but Paperlane went out of their way to set up our venue at an ungodly hour to ensure everything was just right. Fantastic sweetcart and secure gift postbox added nice touches to finish the room. Could not have offered a better service in any way.Amazed that 80 chair covers and bows could be exactly the same, i'd be lucky to make 2.Our thanks go out to this business for making it more than just a transaction and delivering a more personal service. Paper Lane in Hampden Park is super family run business. Sam and her team really do provide a professional service and are always willing to go that extra mile. Paper lane also get involved with in the local community - supporting many local charities and their hard work and dedication to fund raising really does make a difference.

For the third year running, I have had the pleasure of face painting for Sam at Paperlane for her Halloween event, meaning I can spend up to 6 hours in the shop during my stay. Sam and the staff all go above and beyond for any customer and nothing is too menial a task to be done. I have witnessed excellent customer service, be it in person or on the telephone and staff always deal with any situation with calm and efficiency.

They were amazing. They came and set up the LOVE letters for our wedding reception so quickly. The girls were lovely and friendly I would definitely recommend to everyone. When I needed to get a birthday card and gift for my Mum I knew Paperlane was the place to visit. I also had in my mind to get a birthday balloon (one of the foil types) I talked to Sam who suggested an alternative. The balloon display was fantastic! Better yet I got a reaction money could not buy! I put the balloon on the door step and hid to the side. My Mum was over the moon with excitement and even though she is not a fan of photos asked to have her picture taken next to it. She also asked me to pass on her thanks to Alice for creating such a clever creation. Thank you to all for the help in making my Mum's 70th the BEST it could be.

Balloons last for ages . Maybe slightly pricier than some budget chain stores but if you want them to last worth paying the extra!! Loads to chose from for every occasion!!
