Quite dated and well worn pier, some of the flooring has holes in so be careful if you do venture onto it.

I always wonder why councils let beautiful places run down so much! I was unable to find any bit or part of the Pier refurbished or at least cared of! Why no-one even bothered to do even some paint job? Unbelievable…

Most of the arcades are scams as usual, however, the Zoltar fortune arcade is really fun. The food is okay and I would recommend the corn dog and soft serve ice cream.

The arcade at the end of Eastbourne Pier is a fun and vibrant spot, especially if you're looking to relive a bit of seaside nostalgia — flashing lights, chiming machines, and the unmistakable sound of coins (or at least, it used to be coins).

My only mild gripe is with the modern twist on the classic coin pusher machines. In days gone by, skill (or sheer luck) meant coins in… and coins out. Now, those triumphant clinks have been replaced with chirpy ticket spits — and instead of a satisfying handful of silver, you’re trading your spoils for sweets, toys, or perhaps a small rubber duck. It’s still fun, but for those of us who remember the golden age of ā€œone more 10p to shift the pile,ā€ it does feel like the coins have gone digital — or into early retirement.

That said, it’s still a lively and entertaining spot with something for everyone, especially families with children. The atmosphere is cheerful, the machines are in good condition, and it’s a classic part of the pier experience. Just don’t come expecting to make your fortune… unless your dream fortune is a lollipop and a bouncy ball.

Liked it & you don't have to pay to go on. It probably won't last long, though it's all about the money nowadays

It's worth walking around the pier to see the views and have a drink.
They have 2 amusement areas the first one when you go on the pier is very small and not really worth going to, the second is better so worth saving your money for that.

Spent a nice afternoon on the pier. Beautiful weather. The Asian food place is good. Live music outside the bar. You can go fishing at the end (no idea how much it costs). There's a place that does Greek food that smelt amazing. You can have an afternoon tea on the pier too. And there's the usual amusement arcade.
