Great little theater. Nice bar but go to the stage door pub beforehand, greater selection of beers.

Went to see A Song at Twilight which we all really enjoyed. Booked fairly late but still got good seats. Enjoyed the venue and the bar during the interval which offered good quick service without the need to book drinks in advance.

I took my husband to see Noel Cowards production of "a song at twilight" and it was excellent. Simon Callow was superb as Sir Hugo Latymer and Jane Asher as his old flame Carlotta Grey was wonderful. They all worked so very well together. Jessica Turner as his long suffering German wife was really amazing as Sir Hugos wife. Even the butler was very good too in his small part. A truly woderful performance from all the cast.
However just a small criticism, for when it came to interval time in the foyer there didn't appear to be any form of order for coffees or ice creams and just a mish mash of people wandering around with hot coffees in a paper cup of all things. Surely this is a health and safety issue.
In the past patrons could order coffee before the performance started and in the interval make their way down to collect their tray with a small packet of biscuits to accompany their coffee. Or the staff ( usherettes) would bring it to where they were seated.
I do appreciate that there may be issues around this too but please I do not like my coffee in a plastic or paper cup. Especially not for the price you are paying for it.
Also if you need to use the toilets by the entrance it can be difficult to get there due to all the patrons clogging up the entrance.
But despite all this, an extremely wonderful performance from everyone.

On holiday and this venue was right opposite my accommodation, so had to go!
Very friendly and helpful staff and extremely comfortable seats (which other places I’ve visited don’t seem to get right!). Great view from centre stalls row “G” because of slightly sloping floor. Intermission ice cream a tad expensive for such a small tub was my only complaint, apart from the production I saw!

I have seen many shows now at this wonderful Theatre and what stands out is not only the quality of touring shows that come and play here but the wonderful staff who are always without fail welcoming and accommodating. I hope to attend shows here for a long time yet.
