Amazing as always! We visit every year at Christmas time with the family. It's become our tradition. Only down side is lack of toilets and space in the foyer it's a bit of a nightmare during intervals, this is my only reason for not giving 5 stars.

I visited Eastbourne for the day and was shown around by a resident of Eastbourne. They were keen to show me this theatre which was designated a grade 2 listed building in 1991. It was built in 1884 and is still used.

Good view from front of balcony, but no leg room . Brass/ wind section of orchestra too loud for soloists. Hard to pick up the words which are key for G&S. We sat further back at half time, and got slightly better balance. Amplification of soloists needs attention.
