Staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Venue is lovely and well kept, get the real going to the theatre vibe.
Dress code is relaxed, although dress up a bit, the venue deserves it.

If there is something on you are interested in then go there.

I've been visiting this theatre for most of my life, and now go to see performances almost weekly during the ' touring show' season. First class offerings, often from or prior to the west end, at a fraction of the cost and in this beautiful theatre. Staff and volunteers are lovely. Great programme, quite varied and great ticket prices. Worth a visit just to see the building itself.

A great little theatre that has some great shows. The seats are a little in the small side but this is common with theatres this age. Staff are always friendly

Beautiful period theatre with charm and warm atmosphere - my favourite Eastbourne theatre. Staff are very good, seating is good and I've always enjoyed the performances. The design and decor makes you feel you are somewhere special - recommended.

A popular, beautiful Victorian theatre which stages a wide range of productions. Everything from serious dramatic plays to the local Christmas pantomime. The shows are both nationally touring productions and those produced in house. Both professional and amateur productions are catered for. It is a stunning theatre, inside and out. This listed building is very well maintained both by the local council who deal with the major maintenance and the Friends of the Devonshire Park theatre who lend a hand with decorating etc. The Friends also raise a considerable amount of money to assist in the preservation of this theatre. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, consisting of both paid staff and volunteers.

I attended a private lecture so the facilities were not an issue. This is an excellent theatre, very provincial, but I would not wish to loose it as it provides great all-round entertainment, plays, panto, etc.
