Saw "The Night Watch" here and had a wonderful time. The cast and production were amazing. Such a treasure in this town.

Went to see the comedy play of the 39 Steps. What a good choice in brining this to Eastbourne. Friendly and helpful staff

We occasionally go to Wednesday matinee. The ticket prices are as good as they get and the theatre is comfortable and welcoming. My only criticism is that, whilst recently refurbished, the gents toilet facilities are limited for the number of users.

We went to see "The 39 Steps" this afternoon. Absolutely brilliant acting with a cast of only 4 actors. Clever improvisation of the different scenes and some very amusing bits as well. The Devonshire Park theatre is delightful and all the staff are incredibly helpful. An absolute "must" for anyone who enjoys traditional stage productions. That's why we go regularly.

The Devonshire theatre is a lovely proper theatre. I went to see the 39 steps with my friend and we both felt the actors (4) of them were superb and funny. My friend and I indulged into a couple of glasses of prosecco before and at the interval. Friendly service and the drinks not to pricey. Definitely recommend a visit.

The performances here are always exciting, witty & some odd occasion, risqua but it's all in a days work here. The staff are very accommodating & helpful, especially when it comes to the elderly and disabled. Take your seat sometimes with friends and watch the curtain rise....it's show biz time! Enjoy.

This theatre is full of ambience, history and character. From the tiny well-stocked kiosk, the friendly, suited staff to the ornate decor. A lovely place to enjoy a night out to the theatre. There's also a free car park (after 6.30) nearby with nearby pubs, restaurants and the promenade should you wish to make a longer night out. So pleased it's finally reopened - it was worth the wait!

The 4 actors worked so hard - hottest night of the year - and they were all great.
Great staging and some funny lines making it more of a ‘seaside’ show.
Would recommend- great show in a lovely theatre with lovely support staff.

Spent a very pleasant evening here on our short stay in Eastbourne. This is a lovely old building with lots of character. We enjoyed a relaxed drink in the bar before the performance which was Deathtrap. The theatre was far from full which was a shame as the production was very good. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Whilst on holiday last week we went to the theatre on Tuesday evening to see a show. The theatre is smaller than the Congress but was still packed when we arrived. The show we saw was very good and the theatre itself is well worth a visit as they do have some really good productions. Only downside as with all other theatres in the UK you have to queue for a little while to use the ladies toilets during the interval.
