Average value for money Location The hotel is now becoming tired. I was on the fourth floor and water pressure was quite low to have a shower but on the Hall hotel was okay the staff were very good.

Fantastic stay. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Room was very clean and spacious. Food was exceptional. Close to all amenities. Car park was difficult to get to due to road works. Obviously this was not the fault of the hotel and they couldn't do anything about it.

The hubby and I were only planning to be in the area for the day but decided to stay overnight last minute and this hotel is on the front and has a private parking area which only cost an additional £6.

The hotel has a 3* rating, which is fine.
Sadly the room was grubby and falling apart.
There was still rubbish in the bin from the previous occupants.
The furniture had seen better days and all needed replacing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It's in a great location and cheap.

Generally good apart from the above. Close to pier and shops. Easy to get to the promenade so we could walk a couple of miles either way. Food in restaurant was good. We had sea view rooms but because of that they got very hot during the day and didn’t really cool down at night. As we were overlooking the main road it was too noisy to leave the windows open so we had to use the fan they supplied. But I suppose that’s just the disadvantage of a sea view.

Eastbourne overnight In particular the location close to the pier and eating places General upkeep of the buildings were in need of loving attention.
Also that no mention of parking charges was made on the booking information and at £6 a night came as a surprise.

Stayed again as we loved the location....we had a sea view this time, the room was large, great comfortable bed, only this time room was very hot, we opened the windows but the air just wouldn't come in, we was provided with a fan which did help a lot, breakfast was good, plenty of choice, bit of waiting around for a drink at the bar and reception but I think they was a bit understaffed as they was doing a lot of running around, would still happily return as it's a great price, great location, lovely views.

Good size room. Helpful staff. Good situation on the seafront, right opposite pier. Town centre 1 minute walk away. Good bus service to Hastings. Good breakfast.

Absolutely perfect I couldn’t fault anything. Accommodated mum in wheel chair perfectly. My mum was able to navigate the hotel without using her wheel chair which allowed her to feel independent. The rooms were perfect for our stay, clean tidy and comfortable. Tea and coffee toilet rolls were replaced daily you could ask for replacement towels and change of bed linen if required. The range of food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were very polite, and friendly. The ladies toilet was downstairs from the bar, so if my mum needed it we would have to go back to her room as that many stairs she wouldn’t be able to get back up again.

Week long walking stay. Great situation. Comfortable rooms. Really nice staff. Some of the common areas, like the stairs, could be doing with being re carpeted and tarted up a bit.

Great location and breakfast Great location
great breakfast
sea view
It was quiet at night
I asked if we could have a room with both a bath and a shower, and this is what we got. Much appreciated.
The room was unlovely. Very utilitarian. Needed renovating.

Staff were lovely, charming and helpful. Old, but charming, with lots of character. Great staff and excellent breakfast. We didn’t have any information leaflet or folder in our room, to inform us of anything about the hotel or our stay. The lifts were dated, could do with more for the volume of guests.
