A good place to stay near the pier in Eastbourne.
Roads around the hotel are closed so getting into the hotel car park was bit of a faff but after reading the information they sent, I had a good idea of where I was going.
Reading the reviews, I expected the hotel to be a bit dated, which it is but wasn’t surprised. Just needs a bit of an update.

Good Accommodation for the price

Parking. I was fortunate because I did not need to move car during my stay, otherwise can’t guarantee space in the car park if moved daily.

The reception staff were helpful and polite making check in and check out very simple. The communal areas have had work andare clean and to a good standard
It is an old building and some TLC is needed but the room seemed quite "tored" and was in need of a freshen up to match the standard of the other areas. There was also a musty/damp smell each time i entered the room the bathroom was very dated and the enamel bath had several chips in but again it was all clean.
Breakfast was ok not a huge selection of choice but it was hot and nothing had run out. One of the waiting staff was exteemely polite and helpful despite having an obviously tough day with other customers being very rude to him overall a pleasant and comfortable stay

Amazing staff, great location
The staff are definitely what makes the hotel, they can't do enough for you. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfy, and from someone who suffers with their back, that's good. The bar is cheap. Beds were clean. Great location. Would stay again.
The hotel needs updating, which i understand they are doing and will take time. Rooms could do with a deep clean. Other than that, it was good.

Location being very close to the pier, seafront opposite and close to town too. An overnight stop. We didn't eat in the hotel or partake of the evening entertainment
Our room had a view of the car park but this was reflected in the price we paid. If you want a seaview, understandably you pay more.

Proved excellent for visiting seafront and bandstand. Excellent staff.

Limited parking at back resulted me having to drive and park in nearest NCP. Had to phone hotel to ask what to do. Quite a walk with luggage from carpark to hotel. Would have liked information in advance. Got hotel carpark for 2nd night.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good standard mix of cereal, juices and hot food. Bed was comfortable and the rooms were a good size. The sea view was nice.
The hotel is a bit tired and could do with some investment to refurbish the outside and replace some of the tired interior and tired/not so clean ensuite. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast selection could be broadened to provide more for those who don't have meat or dairy.
