From the time of arrival and booking in to leaving everything was done to make our stay a good one.
im on a Gluden diet and the waiting especially Ann went out of thier way th check that the food was suitable to the extent of serving somthing that was not on the menu as alternative. All staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel car park which is additional charge but still cheaper that alternative in the area gets very full at weekends but the staff still helped me find parking place on there that was suitable

Nice quiet room, requested a walk in shower prior to visit and got this. View was at the back over car park but this was not an issue as not in room much. Excellent choice of hot and cold food for breakfast. We had booked the evening meal 3 courses, good value for money for what we paid. Great location for the pier and beachfront walks, hop on buses, and scenic train. All staff that we encountered were very helpful and always very pleasant.
Only thing i had to ask for was some more bottled water for the room, as this was not topped up. I was given some when asked.

In the bathroom the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the glass shower screen was missing the seal at the bottom. But that was it.

Not the cleanest of hotels. It was hot, tried to leave the window open, but had a seaview room, so it was noisy. Food was lovely, but the hotel has seen better days. Staff however, was absolutely amazing. If I came back here, it would be because of the staff, food and location.

Old hotel but definitely worth the sea view, evening meal ok for the price breakfast is amazing choice and great value. Entertainment in the evening and bar prices ok, definitely worth upgrading room as you get what you pay for, staff friendly but evening meal was not enough staff , waited for a long time to be served. Bar staff and reception couldn’t fault.

The room has been decorated well and looked nice at first glance, usb sockets in the room
but look a second later and it unraveled quickly, bathroom is cleaned clearly with a wet cloth and water marks not dried, areas behind the loo and sink are very dusty, i had to report to reception about the following, the floor bar caught the under of my foot with a loose screw, the coffee machine was not working, and the shower drain was very slow draining, also i tried to get anther room as full road/ street works headlong right outside my window, tv is sloping down on one side, it's such a shame as clearly some investment has been spent on site, also as shown in the picture the loo is a very tight fit and i had to walk sideways to it

Really enjoyed our stay but the hotel looks very tired in most places.
Breakfast was very good but could have varied type of eggs served. Our room was very nice. The view was good.
Evening meal very bad, had our money refunded. Exterior paintwork very bad, needs redecorating.

Eastbourne is so lovely especially the downs and the pier and beach it’s got everything and with
Breakfast you choose yourselves and so much on offer, a lovely dinning room over looking the sea, it’s a big room full of charm.
Nothing it was all good, been coming to this hotel for last 5 years and l love it.
We have booked again and can’t wait.
