What stood out most was how nice ad helpful the staff members were.
The basement ladies facilities weren’t very pleasant. The carpets everywhere seem rather old and worn out.

A good family weekend
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the location was brilliant.
the bathroom was very small, everything is a bit dated but quaint. There is no disabled WC in the public areas which is really not acceptable these days. the public ladies WC was in the basement.

Enjoyable 2 night break, enjoyed exploring Eastbourne in the sunshine.
Great location, over the road to the pier, close to many eateries & beach.
The building is full of character and very charming but sadly in much need of tlc & cleanliness & maintenance needs to be addressed.

Stayed 2 nights for Magical Motors. Great location opposite the pier and close to all amenities. Parking and dog friendly too. The hotel is in need of some updating though the rooms are very clean but basic. The bed was very comfortable and the staff and service were excellent. The only disappointment was the view from the window - pigeon poo and rubbish but we were only in the room at night so not too bothered. On the whole, good value and we will return.

Burlington hotel is a clean and comfy hotel. The staff helpful and friendly. Is convenient for theatres and shops. Have stayed here many times its like coming home.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced,
A good selection for breakfast, nice size and clean room,very friendly and helpful staff,this was my third visit to the Burlington,it's in a very good location, plenty of bars, restaurants, and very near the town centre, the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC, but it's still a very nice hotel we will be going back.

My husband booked this hotel online for one night as it was cheaper we was going to the Theatre in Eastbourne that same night
On arrival the staff where very helpful once we found our room thats when we realised why it was so cheap
They had given us two separate beds the bathroom looked like it hadn’t seen bleach in a while but the most unbelievable thing was when I opened the window not only did it look out onto metal stairs but all the window ledge and surrounding area was covered thick in pigeon poop and the window had smears if it down it
Im sorry but no effort was made to remove this muck
My husband has COPD a lung condition thats incurable and having to breath in the spores and dust from this vile mess is unacceptable
We slept all night with the room sealed up which was very uncomfortable
So much so my husband had to use his puffer more than usual that morning
Breakfast was ok but dry and warm
Sorry to say that never again would I book a room at this hotel

The room we initially booked was poor! Not clean and facilities were dilapidated, but we were given a free upgrade to a much better one.
