Very enjoyable , would come again The breakfasts were excellent, the room was spacious although the bathroom was a little small. The view would have been very good if there had been no roadworks.(not your fault } A couple of nights there was entertainment It would have been better if there had been entertainment every night

The privacy, Burlingtons single rooms are large plus I had a full bathroom. No direct line to reception.

Very happy We upgraded to a superior double room this time (previously a standard) and were delighted at the extra room we got! Room size massive and so was the bathroom.

The hotel is very central facing the sea. The staff were friendly and the bar a bonus for a drink or food. The room was a good spec with modern bathroom, excellent wifi, tea & coffee and tv. I’ll stay there again.

Good location and very quiet at night. All staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size but the bathroom was very narrow. Some updating required but this did not ruin our stay.

Great location, lovely big rooms and comfortable beds with sea view. Good shower and very clean. No Aircon but was given a small desk fan which was not really enough to cool the room. Breakfast was very good. Hot and continental breakfast available in buffet style.

Needs to display a sign to service the room or it won’t get serviced.

Convenient for tennis, restaurants and station.

The staff at the Burlington were very friendly and helpful. Although an old Victorian building, the hotel is comfortable and clean. There is a hotel carpark that’s has a very reasonable daily rate. Yes, I’ll revisit.

The staff were helpful and efficient and the bedroom and dining room were of a good standard, however the hotel is very tired. The carpets in stairways and corridors were worn which made them look dirty and all paintwork was marked, peeling in places and requires attention.

Tired and scruffy hotel, polite staff. It was reasonable clean, but bed was clean, comfy and spotless.

Ok so yes it’s an old hotel and it does need a massive renovation but it’s a great location just a shame about the showe The staff are wonderful credit to the hotel We booked a superior sea view room which ended up not the one that was in the photos when I booked.the shower was awful the shower head hardly worked that I went out and brought one so we could have a half decent shower.

Very disappointing. Location was brilliant, just across the road from the beach and pier. Room was very basic. No info about places of interest. Breakfast had very basi c choice, bit manic at times lots of things running out. Not enough staff mostly agency who did'nt seem to know what they were doing. No pillow protectors on pillows which were quite stained, no bed side lamps just one small one on other side of room, ceiling light very high up which made trying to read in bed impossible. Bathroom really needs some attention. We paid £525.50 for 3 nights b&b. We have stayed in much better Travelodges for a lot less. Such a shame as this used to be a lovely hotel. Will not be back.

Great staff, cleanliness a problem Fabulous location of hotel , right by pier. Double bed comfortable, room a good size. Kettle, tea and coffee provided. Staff helpful. Apologized for lack of cleanliness in room and offered some money back. Bar drinks and food and restaurant. Don’t go to room 444 as right by lift and can hear the lift announcing the floor as if in your room so loud. Cleanliness a problem. Windy so door rattled unless you wedge it with paper.

Convenient Location The room was quite small and outside the French doors there were cigarette ends that should have been swept up

Mixed reviw Very good location near the town.
Opposite the beach .
Staff were very helpful and very friendly
I dont think this hotel should be rated for disabled access if u are in a wheelchair .
Their lifts are very old .
Can.just about fit a wheelchair in .the.lift.
The only. Disabled access is through the dining .room
I think.it could be very annoying to other guest if they are trying to have a meal and u have wheelchairs coming in and out .
That was the only downside .

Mother and Daughter Trip Amazing location, right on the beach front.
Awesome history to the building, it still holds lots of it's stories and historic content to it which makes it an interesting place to be.
Breakfast was amazing! They had a good selection of food, hot and cold. As well as gluten free and dairy free alternatives. Amazing view over the beach as we ate. Staff were accommodating when we asked for a new fan.
Bedroom floor hadn't been hoovered, even though the beds were very easy to move ir was obvious the cleaners didn't bother moving them. Everything else was generally clean. Sash windows that weren't that soundproof. Lifts are fantastic and historic but could do with a little refurbishment inside.
Not an accessible hotel.

Brilliant location , excellent staff and very knowledgeable. Good value for money. Really love the position of the hotel and we were lucky to have a Seaview. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. Also the hotel has its own car park which is a bonus. I feel there could be some updating of the paint work both externally and internally but I do feel they are trying their best.
