Nice Hotel, overall a great stay a wonderful base for a holiday in Eastbourne. Centrally located.

Hotel was clean and tidy. The lack of parking spaces as a disabled badge holder. Presumably the hotel knows roughly how many blue badge holders it has staying so perhaps it could reserve the required amount of spaces needed.
The rooms and common areas were excessively hot.
No fridge in the room.
No safe in one of our rooms.
Cheap toilet paper, so we bought our own!
Pillows were too hard.

Great value for money in these money-conscious times.
A lovely, clean room comparable in my opinion with much more expensive and modern premises. Breakfasts were great and the table service was exemplary. This is clearly a friendly working environment as the staff were always very polite. And the afternoon teas and cakes on the sundeck were amazing. I can't think of better value for money. This was our experience.

Excellent location and room with view towards the pier
Staff were great - we had a lovely warm welcome. Location was perfect and had stunning view towards the pier. Breakfast was also good. Entertainment in the evening was fun too.
Discussed with the hotel who reimbursed the cost as a result of the feedback / experience.

The grandeur of the hotel was lovely. Location great. Bed very comfortable. Friendly staff.
Constructive criticism..... the bathroom needs a deep clean. Shower surround and shower hose very gungy. Loo hinges dirty. Skirting boards dirty. The whole room was tired. Window frame mouldy. But the room was cheap...

Breakfast was very good, and the sea view room. Comfy bar seating area and all staff we met were very good.
We were in 107, the carpet is very badly stained and does not look nice, did not look as if it had been hovered very good with bits on carpet, toilet roll holder hanging off wall which eventually fell off, and outside balcony needs a good clean with rubbish out there. When booking did not say about paying for car parking, or saying if you booked for meal night before it was cheaper ?

Had an amazing time staying at this hotel.from the moment we got there at 3 booked in, our room was ready went straight there to drop suitcases off.The room was spotless and had all amenities we needed.All the staff were amazing from receptionists,bar staff waiters to housekeepers they are an absolute credit to your hotel! We paid extra for dinners and breakfast,honestly couldn’t fault the food! Breakfast there were so many choices! And the evening meals were fabulous! We would like to thank everyone for our fabulous stay! Jon and Lucy Brackley

I had a nice single room with a view. The great thing about this hotel is it's right on the beach. But not far from the station so you can jump on the train and enjoy the South Downs.

This was my second stay here I came back because my first stay was good. But my second stay was terrible the room was tatty carpet needed a good wash TV wall was full of hand prints paint peeling near window and filthy behind the bathroom sink. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is ok. Neighbours were very noisy did not get to sleep until 4.30 am I will not be returning
