Room was a bit cold, radiator was only like warm so a portable radiator had been put in room.

In summary a lot to like, a few quibbles but no deal breakers.
There were some empty plastic bottles outside our window clearly been there a while. Slightly stained carpet. Creaky floorboards in our room and from room above but not disruptive.
The inside of the room was clean and tidy which is most important. WiFi good. Safe in our room useable with no extra charge. Sea view. Nice decor/pictures. Usb charging sockets useful. Reception friendly good service. Entertainment on in the evening at the weekend.

Had a lovely week away, hotel was a bit dated but that’s what you get in a period property. Our room was very spacious with a great sea view. Breakfast was really good with a lot of choice.

I love the hotel even though it's old . But staff are friendly and it's right near the sea front and 5min to the town.
I was given a room that was very tired and didn't feel comfortable and was right by the lift . So I went back to the reception and asked to be moved . They were very good and moved me to another room . Which was better and I had stayed in that room before which was nice .

Not bad.
The location is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have a sea view room. The seagulls flew to the window seal to say hello.

Very nice breakfast. Excellent staff. Super location opposite beach. Furniture rather too big for the room, making it awkward to get around, and TV at an angle that gave my neck a crick, but these were minor inconveniences, as everything else was excellent.

Great location near the seafront with easy access to local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable

It is a nice old seafront hotel that we have visited many times before and find to be a comfortable place to stay. Very close convenient for seafront strolls and local shopping. It has undergone many improvements and updates in recent years while retaining the charm of and old seaside hotel. Staff service and catering was excellent on this visit

You can't book parking so you could pay for a space and then drive out somewhere and not have a space to return to.
Breakfast was decent, full English but no veggie "meat" option.
Couldn't get the radiator to work in the bathroom. Reported to reception but not fixed during stay.

I booked at the last moment. The Reception Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Hotel has bar and Restraunt facilities. Buffet breakfast excellent for £10.

Eastbourne is a nice coastal town with pebble beach. The Burlington is good value for money hotel. old building, a little run down but comfortable, breakfast was a self service buffet, well presented and well worth the money.
