Hotel is a little tired decoration wise so not for somebody who wants something spotless and right up to date. . But for us the room was nice and clean the staff were top notch and really helpful. Breakfast was good. We had a superior sea view room overlooking the pier all at a real bargain price. It’s an older hotel full of charm and for us it ticked every box would happily stay again.

A good location but needs some work on the heating.
The room was spacious but with a lovely view of a car park rather than the sea. It was well located on the sea front half way between the two theatres I had to visit. Breakfast was good.
The room was very cold - even with a heater going full blast in the room and the bathroom was very tiny.

Great Breakfast,Excellent room and shower very old hotel excellent inside very large an oldy worldy,, negative side is the windows ,old sash ones really need replacing but all in all very satisfied , would definitely go back :)

The rooms at the rear of the hotel are cheaper but are very dated and abit dingy, and the seating in the bar have seen better days

It was ideal for the one night to save us from driving home after attending the theatre
Breakfast really good. Plenty of choice, hot place and hot food. Toaster worked well
Hotel itself looks very tired on the outside, especially the window frames. Bedroom floor was very creaky. Shower could do with a bit of a deep clean and was leaking from the hose that attached to the showerhead
